-Redone the quilting bee quilt page, rejoined, checked all the member numbers, collected emails, wrote some funky css, sent out a hot cross bun patch, joined the Qbee BBS, made a butterfly for the upcoming activity and sent out trade requests to 6 people (no replies yet though).
-I'll be updating the contest page later today with the new entries and judges (see banner above to join)
-6 entries so far in the oekaki ethnicity contest over at shadow-wings ^___^
But that's it for updates for now, I'll be later this evening - for now it's time to celebrate Easter with my family! Ah Jesus is just so kickass awesome! Read the easter story online (google it) if you have a few spare minutes, it's pretty cool.

Hi everyone! Announcing the Sakura Festival Contest 2005!
This year there are ten categories you can enter as well as the option to become a judge and on top of the usual awards there will be a choice of neopet items or real items sent by post for the first place winners!
You can check the category list here.
The contest will run for three weeks to give everyone time to create their entry.
Even if you don't join in, please could you put a link to the contest (direct link codes available on the site) in your interactives/contest section? I really hope we'll see as many original and talented entries as last year!
You don't have to be a CCSakura fansite owner to be a member of the jury or to enter. ^_^

About screencaptures, I'll probably try and screencapture Tsubasa this summer instead of the first season of CCS and it takes a lot of time so please stop asking for now ^^;

About a contest: I'm considering running a big contest next month or during the summer. It would be the usual categories, with a panel of judges etc... I really don't feel well enough to spend hours making graphic prizes this year so I'll probably offer a choice of neopet items or real items sent by post such as kawaii stationary, little items or a small plushie. I don't have any name brands/specific anime series but I have some really cute writing paper + enveloppes that could be easily slipped into a letter to anywhere in the world. This is the first time I'll actually be putting out real money/items as it's been a policy for me in the past to create a big and no-ads website for free. Suppi.net (two years) was a lovely gift from Mr & Mrs Bellis, Shadow-wings.net is funded only by real-cashs.com earnings and most of the programs used to create the website are freeware. I believe there IS a place on the web for websites fueled only by people's hard work and that you don't need expensive tools to create something good even if it takes more time. That's what webbie and blinkiemakers are about ^^;.

I'm finally getting to those emails lost at the bottom of my inbox! Yep, I can only reply to a certain amount per day and of course the latest get put at the top so some just get abandoned for weeks, even months before i can get to them. *sweatdrops*
Ok on to the updates:
-5 new wallpapers by Chibi (there are some really pretty costume colorizations)
-"New" valentines award (yes it's taken me this long) from Misty, TPN member card from Princess sailor mars and Candy Dollz picture from Chibi. All added to the awards + gifts 2005 page.
-Fanart from Chibi (the swan costume)
-Fanfiction updates: Destiny will find each other by Dina and Sakura's quest in time by Isaac.
-Shadow-wings image gallery: New bishounen, angel and cute animal pictures...
-Lots and lots of new links (CCS and other)
Ok I'm going to get some sleep now ^_^ sorry to anyone i havn't replied to yet via email, neomail, gaia pm, shadow-wings pm, deviantart comment, guestbook etc. I just can't keep up with everything...*cries* I think I'll have to reduce the amount of places I lurk and things I do so that i can actually get updates and emails done! ^^;

Lots of updates over at shadow-wings (new draw page, member links etc)
Replied to guestbook queries and added a link to them (see guestbook)
Brand new layout! ^_^ I've been working on it for a long time, I really wanted an interface layout from the moment I decided to change (that's a few months ago now) so i've been practicing and reading tutorials and looking for 'that' CCsakura picture: I found this lovely swan outfit fanart about a week ago and that was the spark that set everything into motion ^___^;
The fonts are Angel, Barrel (depeche mode), Square Dance 03 and Tahoma for the content text.
As usual, the pictures were created in PSP8 and the image maps too, and all the code is done by hand in Editpad lite. Codes used: Stylesheets, HTML, Server Side includes (main site) Javascript includes (wanadoo image host).
Number of layers on the image? Over fifty. Number of alternative layouts scrapped? 2 (I'll probably pop them on DevantArt scraps). Amount of chocolate comsumed? 300g >.< .So... satisfied? 90% (I'll probaby edit the menu text later this week when i've had enough of it being randomly placed). PS: Check out the new Tsubasa images (screencapped from the japanese NHK site via Michael's CC)! Aren't they just so sweet in that little episode picture? I think I might be falling for this anime *sweatdrops* It comes out on the 9th of april in Japan and I'm pretty sure it will get fansubbed (expect screencaptures if i get my hands on any!) then it'll be time to start harrassing the tv/anime producers to get it aired and purchasable in our own countries. Sakura + Syaoran look a bit older. Sakura looks very much herself with a bit of Nadeshiko thown in. I can't wait to see Tomoyo's character design ^^. Look who her seiyuu is: "Maaya Sakamoto as Tomoyo" waiiii! More news on animenewsnetwork... the offical site is kind of bare ^^;
