All 7 parcels should be sent off tomorrow
Reminder: Kuri, Izzy, Meyli and Butterflyjen can either ask for a petpet or a signature/avatar set. (This week only! As I have some extra time)
There is a whole load of new content to upload to the fansection but I won't be doing that until sunday as my bandwidth is very close to the limits for this month.
I continue with the sorting out on my harddrive, inbox, websites and a bit in my head ^_^;
To those who have asked, I'll try and screencapture Tsubasa 2 and 3 next week as this week has been way too full. In the meantime please google "bittorrent tutorials" then head over to animesuki.com to download them!

The Sakura Festival contest is now closed: you can see the winners, awards and collect your prizes.
There are 6 (maybe 7) parcels on my table waiting to be sent off to Jin, Mazzie, Cindy, Lindie, Tamara & Ruka (& maybe Casdi)
All the redemptions for neopet petpet items recieved so far have been dispached too.

In the next week there should be three new SW member interviews added ^^.
I have some serious sorting out to do: in my images, passwords, websites, links through out the websites etc... bear with me plz ^^;

Currently: Downloading Tsubasa 02, searching for somewhere to purchase "Mourning Widows//Furnished Souls For Rent" (Nuno Bettencourt <3), looking forward to watching Beyond the Clouds (I've been waiting over a year for this gem of a film and it took a whole month for it to finish downloading on BT - my share rating was sky high), feeling a wee bit under the weather (my voice has gone =p) but very happy with the way the contest has gone (you guys blow me away).

An avalanche of new entries to the contest (including three beautiful fanfictions)
Reworked chapter 6 to Sakura's Card Quest by Isaac added (see fans)
Updated the forums to version 2.0.14 (with a few hacks: rank to member list, admin user search, group ranks)

I've spend the afternoon over at Shadow-wings, modding, cleaning, sorting etc...
- There are new ranks for retired mods, some users have been added to the staff team group which has access to the hidden "staff lounge" to chat and decide on SW issues.
- New admin features for searching users and editing permissions.
- The member list shows your rank now (your wings)
- There has been cheating with multiple accounts voting on the ethnicity contest: we are currently deciding what to do about this and how it will affect the contest. If you are a staff member please head to the staff lounge to discuss this.

Ok: on to the CCS relevant news: I've just watched episode one of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (www.animesuki.com for the torrent) and ... I have to be honest, it's not my 'thing'. Yes: It's cute, got lots of bishies ... but I just wasn't taken.
The graphics are gorgeous (well except for the fact the guys look like they need to eat more), the story looks like it could be fun but I'm just not gripped in the way I was for CCS. It could be the annoying music they felt the need to add to each musical sequence (this is what put me off Noir - the music is great as a standalone album but it's grating when added to the anime) and the fact the characters seem different from what I'm used to. I know I've only seen one episode but I'm usually either head over heels with a series or not at all within minutes of the opening title.
This is my own opinion and don't let it put you off watching the anime because its just my tastes but I personally find Clamp series such as X or CCSakura a lot "deeper" than this Tsubasa.
There we go. Anyhow I WILL be screencapturing this episode and probably 2 more. From then on I'll screencap on request: episodes YOU suggest, I'll download and screencap for S+S moments, Tomoyo cameos or stunning visuals.
Is that Ok with you guys? Because I'd be more interested in promoting anime films such as "Beyond the Clouds", rarish Ghibli films or darker series like Key, Lain or Ghost in the Shell SAC if I had time to spare. I'm just not as totally taken with Tsubasa as I was and still am about CardCaptor Sakura (=^_^=). I mean on the surface CCS might seem like your average magical girl series but it really touched me and a lot of us... It has super cute moments, humour, tension, fear and an emotional depth I can't explain: I mean I actually cried for the final judgement scene where she sees life as it would be without love and was gripped by many beautiful moments (too many to write down here =p) in a way I could have never expected a so called "childrens" "cartoon" to do.
Voilà. Um I'm off to bed, I'll do the screencapping tomorrow (and try to reply to the emails *grins sheepishly*) There are some really beautiful pictures of Syaoran + Sakura together and Touya kicking ninja ass =p

Replied to guestbook queries for the last month (suppi.net/replies.txt)
Added "last updated" script to the Anti-Hentai clique and Suppi fanlist (resubmitted to the anime fanlistings)
Added "before" pictures the the ethnicity contest thread (www.shadow-wings.net/bbs) so you can compare the original characters to their redesign.
Inbox status: 15 fairly important emails to reply to ^^; *thankyou for your patience* I see some cute gifts in there *waii* I'll add them later this week.
Fixed one or two bugs: thankyou to Nightchild and an anonymous B/tard
Current to do list:
- Reply to emails and add awards
- Update links section
- Update the fanfictions by Dina and Isaac.
- Add a few tutorials sent via email to misc people to the webbie.supi.net tutorials section.
- Close the shadow-wings ethnicity contest and create awards.
- Affiliate check.
- Sort out the past two weeks collection of images and add some to the SW galleries (few are CCS though sorry)

Kira gave me two lovely bday presents (pop by and give her some hugs ^^)
I've had a lovely day: we had a meal together (with chocolate mousse cake!) my parents gave me a beautiful pendant, Joanna got me a Pikachu backback and a sweet card, Granny sent X-files season 7 and a great book of poetry. I also got some munny which has gone into my savings account towards driving lessons when I'm well enough!

Two new videos created by request: Sakura hugs Syaoran (episode 27) and Sakura + Syaorans conversation in the night snow (episode 64)... You can find them in the media folder over at shadow-wings.net.
